About whatsmyip.li
Fast, private, free IP & network tools.
whatsmyip.li shows your public IP address and everything the internet can infer about your connection — location, ISP, hostname and the details your browser reveals — plus a handful of genuinely useful network tools.
What we show
- Your IP — the public IPv4 or IPv6 address your device is currently connecting from.
- Geolocation — approximate city, region and country derived from the address. It is not precise and does not reveal your street.
- Network — the ISP, organisation and autonomous system (ASN) that owns the address, plus its reverse-DNS hostname.
- Tools — IP lookup, DNS lookup, browser inspection and DNS blacklist checks.
Accuracy
IP geolocation is an estimate based on public databases. City-level results are usually right; the pin on the map is approximate and often points at the centre of a region, not your home.
For developers
Get your IP as plain text with curl whatsmyip.li/ip, or as JSON at /api/ip (add ?geo=1 for geolocation).
